Uma resenha-homenagem do livro Verdades da ciência e outras verdades, última obra publicada por Newton Freire-Maia, pioneiro Genética brasileira. Acompanha reflete a narrativa de Freire sobre "a que já está feita vai fazendo o cientista em formação", deixando muito evidente sua identidade profissional, suas concepções convicções epistêmicas ao longo carreira e, claro, tudo aquilo define caráter histórico social enquanto construção humana.
